- Identical to endogenous catecholamines

INDICATION
- Treatment of shock
- Spinal anesthesia
- Sympathectomy
- Drug over dose like Phenothiazine , TCA
CONTRAINDICATION
- Peripheral Vascular Thrombosis
- Uncorrected Blood Deficits
- Cyclosporin or halogenated hydrocarbon anesthesia
ADVERSE EFFECT
- Ventricular irritability
- Cardiac Depression
- Decreased renal blood flow
- Reflex bradycardia

How to give
Peripheral line : For 60kg men to give 0.1mcg for one hr ,amount of noradrenaline required is 0.1*60*60=360mcg.
When one amp is added to 50ml; 4*1000=4000mcg in 50ml ie 80mcg/ml
so 4.5 ml/hr is required to give 0.1mcg/min (4.5*80=360)
